Selected work across stencil portraiture, generative code art, motion graphics, and collaborative experiments. Each piece is an exploration — of form, of process, of what happens when mediums collide.
On creating
Sometimes that's a stencil blade and spray paint. Sometimes it's a canvas-sketch script running hundreds of iterations until one output stops me. The through-line isn't technique — it's the instinct to remix, to take something from one domain and see what it becomes in another.
Some of this work exists at the edge of what I know how to do. The stencil portraits started because I'd never cut a stencil. The generative pieces started because I was learning to code. I'm drawn to the beginner's moment of discovery: learning to push past what's derivative, integrating across boundaries, exploring edge effects.
There's art in raw expression that gets lost in additional drafts, in one more refinement. The first draft may not be final, but at a certain point, edits make it a different piece, the path changes, and the signposts decrease. Each piece is a signpost. The journey is the story.
Raw outputs, iterations, dead ends, and starting points. Updated as the work continues.
